Objectives and activities of the organization:

Ministry of Education of Moldova has various tasks:

• To promote the objectives and principles of higher education integration into the European education system. UNS report (2008-2009). «Strategia consolidata de dezvoltare a învăţământului pentru anii 2011-2015. Chisinau 2010. Capitolul 6-6». 10 ES/MD integration objectives in the European area.
• To organize and coordinate the activity of its institutions. To supervise the creation of new educational institutions’ networks; proposals on their reorganization and improvement.
• To develop methodologies and coordinate the administration process, promotion of graduation cycles of higher education institutions.
• To coordinate the process of vacant positions replacement, management of scientific-educational positions (university professor, associate professor).
• To organize the evaluation of specialized manuals for higher education.

Role of the organization in the project:

• Two meetings (October – December) at the Ministry of Education with the vice-minister Dr. Loretta Handrabura and Dr. Nadejda Velisco from the Higher Education Service for project and notice presentation:
  • The agreement and support of the Ministry of Education for the project theme, corresponding to the orientation of the above mentioned policy report 2011-2015, and universities’ development plans.
  • Sending a representative to the Scientific and Pedagogical Committee, and the report meetings on work progress.
  • The agreement to analyze the final conclusions and proposals on teaching methods design by applying e-learning (transmission required by the Council of Rectors).
