Objectives and activities of the organization:

State University „B. P. Hasdeu” from Cahul is the youngest (1999) of higher educational institutions of Moldova. It comprises 3 faculties (Economics, Informatics, Mathematics; Law and Public Administration; Philology-History). It has 180 teaching staff training 1700 students (500 at part time studies) in L-M system, with 18 Bachelor programs, 6 Master programs, and no PhD student. Educational management aims at transportation (especially the maritime transport). Significant development of inter-university cooperation (MD, RO, UA, FR). 4 Tempus projects. Implication in Erasmus Mundus Window (lot 7) and European master: European integration and vicinity policy MEINEPU. Modernization of the administration program (universities’ computerization). Superior School Hotel-Restaurant.

Role of the organization in the project:

• State University of Cahul will participate in the project with all its faculties, including the Chair of Pedagogy and Psychology.
• The university will participate in all joint activities: representation of functional structures, information merging and its dissemination, training sessions for teaching staff / students, internal quality evaluation, synthesis, proposals for study methods designing, introduction of e-learning in the educational process of the SUC.
• The specific contributions will be:
  • The appointment of the teaching staff or technicians in order to enable the UNT network,
  • Participation of the teaching staff in working groups in: Applied Mathematics (Faculty of Informatics and Mathematics), Economic Management (Faculty of Economics),
  • EL testing with the help of specialized trainers which benefit from instruction provided by the Chair of Pedagogy and Psychology at 1 faculty,
  • Participation in summary sessions, final report, EL prospective introduction, regional conference.
