Objectives and activities of the organization:
Rennes I – 24000 students, 3350 teachers (19 UFR, Institutes and Schools). LMD System (220 national education programs). Education and research development: Science and Technology, Human and Health Sciences, Social Sciences. 50 p. 100 postgraduate students, 1100 PhD students in 4 Doctoral Schools. Master of II degree, joint theses at international level. Joint international researches (PCRD Marie Curie). Tempus Alban-Erasmus Mundus.
The University has an Engineering and Multimedia Resources Center (EMRC), combining engineering which allows the leading of strategic projects FOAD (Digital Campus, Digital Thematic University). This joint service provides the implementation of initial and continuing training tools based on TICE.
Inter-institutional projects (at regional and national level) of training via e-learning of the local community, civil society.
Provides on-line resources for students and continuing training.
Role of the organization in the project:
- Rennes I will be member of Project’s Functional Structures (CST, C. Tech.), will receive responsible teaching staff from Moldova and teachers GTD-MD specialized in Mathematics (UFR-Didmar Math.), Management (IGR), Medicine and Pharmacy (under 1F-2B activities) in order to present the EL. Participation in the final summary session, colloquium, and at all the required meetings.
- EMRC will intervene:
- In preparatory activities (merging of information via e-learning). Training in EU C. Tech. (1D) and support, in Moldova, for the development of the UNT network, guidelines and communication tools.
- Training, in Moldova, of EL teacher and designer groups (2A) and trainers (3D) on e-learning elaboration and dissemination methods.
- Training, in Moldova, of student groups which will use e-learning in the presence of their teachers. Additional measures (tutoring, forums, monitoring and management tools).
- Providing consultancy, expertise transfer, presentation of summaries (decision on UNT-MD network efficiency) and colloquiums.
