Objectives and activities of the organization:

Rennes II – Public University, 17500 students and 600 teachers dispensed in 5 UFR, including Humanities, Social and Management Sciences.

Training on 3 levels (Bachelor, Master, Doctorate); 11 international Master programs; 2 Doctoral Schools, operating in a network (series) (Univ. Bretagne South, Occidental Bretagne). Almost 1000 PhD students – theses under the authority of the European University of Brittany (EUB), 500 teachers-researchers. University Department of Distance Education, since 1992, for enrolled students unable to follow full time studies and in adult centers. Dissemination of on-line education (“Cursus” Service), Digital Work Environment Service. It is the fifth out of 23 FR University Centers of TV Education. E-learning at Bachelor level and TAIS-CIAN license (Digital Internet Audiovisual convergence).

Role of the organization in the project:

• Rennes II will receive, for information on the functioning of its e-learning (SUED, licenses AES, TAIS-CIAN), a Moldavian exploratory mission, made up of Moldavian representatives responsible for education.
• L’UFR Social Sciences, responsible for the training in Economic and Social Sciences (ESA), Management and Applied Mathematics in Social Sciences (AMSS), will present its activity, on-line education (ESA -TAIS-CIAN). It will be part of MD-EU mixed working groups: „Applied Mathematics” and „Economics and Management”. ESA departments (Economic and Social Administration) and AMSS will present their EL and will advise their MD counterparts on the content of modules to perform during their mission to Rennes. The institution will provide an expert in Educational Sciences (for external audit) and will participate in the final conference.
